In this specially prepared presentation for New Acropolis, philosopher, and author Matthew Del Nevo talked about the song and the soul. Song has become the locus of the soul in a most soulless time, he said.  Song, on the other hand, is a product of the time.  Matthew talked about song and what it is that makes it so significant, even saving our souls sometimes. He spoke with reference to the European art music tradition, the pop song and world music, with some streamed performance by Nat King Cole and Korean songstress Kim Taeyeon.
