IMSS Presents Israeli Photographer Adi Nes

What a great lecture!
In partnership with PSC Photography Studies College (Melbourne) and Habayit, we had the opportunity to host one of Israel’s most prominent photographers – Adi Nes, for a lecture about his works.
Adi, who was invited to take part in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale, took the opportunity to share with us issues related to hidden layers within his photographs. He exposed the way he uses canonical icons and the social ideas that are ascribed to them.

Nes’s body of work includes five main series to date: Soldiers
(1994-2000), Boys (2000), Prisoners (2003), Biblical Stories (2004-2007); The Village (2007- 2012).
